We fell in love with you at first sight 8 years ago.

We can't imagine life the past 8 years without you. I hope that you will continue to be curious about the world around you. This past year you've read a plethora of books. Among them, the Percy Jackson series and the Harry Potter series keep you riveted. You are still as obsessed with dragons and LEGOs as ever. And you've developed a passion for Star Wars, much to daddy's delight.

You enjoyed a fun day at Rascals playing mini golf and laser tags with your friends from school.

Happy 2014!

Happy New Year!

We began our new year with traditional ozoni soup that grandma made. 

Owen couldn't get enough of of the hokki clams.

I prefered the kamaboko fish cake in my soup.

After breakfast, we headed down to Ala Moana Center to watch the Taiko performancy by Kenny Endo and the Taiko Center of the Pacific. It was awesome! I can't wait to start taking Taiko lessons with Owen, mommy and daddy in a few weeks.

Then we went to dim sum at Royal Garden. Owen had to have his custard tart.

We did some shopping after and enjoyed a refreshing strawberry shaved ice dessert at Kulu Kulu inside Shirokiya.

What a great way to start the new year with filled bellies!
