House of Parliament from the London Eye 

By the time we were done with the palace, it was already mid-afternoon. We caught the train back to London Waterloo Station, and walked to the London Eye, a gigantic ferris wheel on the banks of the Thames. The line was very long, but it moved quickly, and we got onto a pod in no time. The ride took about half an hour to go around one revolution. This ride was really sedate, but it was neat to see London from above.
