Headin' home

I'm ready to go!
I'm ready to go!

We're going back to my ancestral homeland (So-Cal) for a vacation! I sure need one. I've been feeling kind of out of sorts lately, and I think I need a change of scenery. Daddy mentioned something about going to Hawaii too while we're out there, so stay tuned...

Salem

Last Monday we visited Salem with Aunty Missy. It was her last full day with me, and we had a great time.

Are there witches in the air?
Here I am in front of the Salem Witch Museum. It was rainy so I am in my bubble. I am smiling though.

Lunch with Aunty Missy. We are at someplace called the Salem Beer Works. I'm not sure what that means, but I liked my lunch!

Later we went to the Peabody Essex Museum. It was so big! Ronak, his parents, his uncle and his uncle's friend met us there. We had a great time rolling around on the floor while the grownups watched movies about Chinese houses.

What the inside of the museum would have looked like if it were sunny.

They had this exhibit on modern furniture that mommy and daddy really liked.

I wish I'd gotten to see the model ships though. Daddy told me about them afterwards. There was one of the Queen Elizabeth that was like 20 feet long!

After a while though, it was getting late so we all headed off. I fell asleep, and when I woke up, we were at Himalayan food!

What should I order?
Din-Din-time. What shall I have?

Gingerbread

Reading the paper
Reading the Sunday paper. I like the ads.

On Sunday we went to a party at Uncle Carl and Aunty Joy's to make gingerbread sculptures. I like their place. There's lots of room to roam around, and we got to decorate gingerbread!

Aunty Missy Part 1

Hi everyone, for some reason my editors have been slacking off, so I understand there haven't been many posts lately. Anyway, last week Aunty Missy came to visit! She just left today, and I miss her already. She's so nice to me!

Aunty Missy brought me some new dishes. These ones have hippos on them!

Mmmm... tastes like hippo!

On Saturday, when she got in, we went to the Freedom Trail. It was my first time, but it was kind of boring for baby. I think my tour guides didn't make it lively enough.

Later, by Faneuil Hall, we saw some police horsies dressed in red Santa hats.

We ended up our walk at Paul Revere's house. It had been a long time since I'd had my diaper changed, and guess where they decided to do it? On the bench. In the courtyard. In 40 degree weather. Well, when you gotta go, you gotta go!

Lots more happened on Missy's visit, but baby got to go to sleep. Nighty night!

Playing Indoors

Since it's been cold (and because I get bored at home), mommy's been taking me to some play spaces. They're basically indoors playgrounds for little kids. There's one at the place where mommy and I work out. I love it so much that Ronak, me and our mommies went back on a day that we weren't working out.

Giddyup!
Giddyup! Can we get one of these at home?

Beep Beep
Driving lessons didn't go so well... Me and Ronak had a little fender bender. Or were we reenacting Uncle JT's driving?

We can also go to the play space at the Atrium mall. So convenient, right next to the baby photo studio and Baby Style. Baby Gap and Janie and Jack is also in the mall too... Anyway, it's a lot more crowded than the other one, but there's so much to climb on!

The last time we went, I introduced myself to this lady, but she only spoke Russian or something. It didn't matter, though. She knows what babies like!

Feeding Daddy

The other day while Daddy was feeding me dinner, I was feeling generous, so I offered some turkey to Daddy. He and Mommy got so excited that I can "feed" them now. Here's the video. Remember to click on the triangle to play the movie.

Cold wet white stuff

When I woke up this morning, it was cold and wet outside. We all thought it was just raining again. But when Daddy went outside to leave for work, he said it was "snowing"! I didn't know what that meant. Mommy was super excited about it though. After we had breakfast, she changed me into a huge thick jacket and long slippery pants. Then she took me outside and set me down on the white ground. What is this cold white stuff?!! I tried to touch it, but it just made my hand cold and wet. Then I got upset because I couldn't move with this big jacket on me. Mommy told me that this white stuff is "snow", and we'll probably be seeing a lot more of it in the next few months. Daddy told me that we can go "sledding" sometime. I don't know if I'm going to like it. I sure don't like to be bundled up like this.

What is this white cold stuff?

Mommy had to scrape the snow off the car so that we could go to StrollerFit this morning. Good thing the exercise class was indoors!

Playdate with Emerson

On Thursday, Mommy took me to my friend Emerson's house for lunch and playtime. Emerson is only 10 days younger than me! We had so much fun -- Emerson was so great about sharing her toys with me. She also gave me a hug and a kiss when Mommy and I had to leave before nap time. I hope we'll get to hang out again soon.

One More Thanksgiving Picture

My hat doesn't fit anymore, but I still like it
My hat still fits!

Children's Museum

On Friday after Thanksgiving we went to the Children's Museum. I liked it a lot! There was so much for me to do! Here are some of the things I did:

Water bed
Playing in a big water bed. Can I have one of these for my room?

Woah, that's a big bubble
Blowing gigantic bubbles. I think I could fit in that one...

Why are these balls flying?
Watching flying balls. I cannot look away...

Finally, they're letting me have some eggs!
Eating eggs.

Things I'm not fond of: big puppets jumping up at me
Staying away from scary puppets! I'm making sure that it doesn't bite my hand.

Too bad that was the last day of Ah Mah and Ah Gong's trip. They'd already left when I woke up the next morning (even though I was sure to get up by 5). Mommy and daddy say I'll see them soon, though, when we go back to California at the end of the month. I can't wait!
