Watching the Rose Parade

Today we were going to go to Pasadena to watch the Tournament of Roses Parade, since it's going to be our last chance for a while. We were really excited to see all the floats and the bands walking down Colorado Boulevard.

Unfortunately, all week the forecasters had been predicting rain for the parade. When we got up at 5 this morning, it turned out that the meteorologists were right. It was raining pretty hard, and on the weather radar, it looked like it was raining even harder in Pasadena, in the shadow of the Angeles National Forest. So instead, we're staying home and watching the TV broadcast.


I'm glad we're not in the middle of this.
